Change in cycle philosophy!

Braking news!! There has been a shift in parental cycling philosophy!! So gear yourself up to read about this chainge!

Recently, parentals have decided to not travel from place to place on bike, but instead travel on train or ferry and cycle in circles (or not at all) when we stop! This allows for shorter overall journey time, and lots of lazing – en effet, by observing distances done on the infinitely accurate Graph, we can conclude that we are lazy.

Since the lap of luxury in Stockholm, and our acclimatisation to such delights, our daily total cycling distance has not exceeded around 40 to 50 km (flèmme to look). This points to one word that can be used appropriately in this context: décadence. Only time will tell of what will happen in Tromsø.

Time has told what will happen in Tromsø. We waited around for Sascha to get better and Mama made Kanelboller. In some days, no cycling was done. Then a cycling-changing decision was made: a subscription to DNT, which is not Doughnut ‘n’ Tea, nor Discovery of Newts Team, but bien some other thing that has the abreviation of DNT – obviously a mountaneering asscociation. The plan (it was unbelievable, a plan?) at the time was to climb a mountain and stay in a DNT hut up there for one night. But it all went terribly wrong from the start. We only bought one day worth of food. Doom impending, I hastily packed a second pair of underpants. Then we toddled off on the trail to the mountain, parked our bikes and worldy possessions, fastened and secured by a lock the size of a norwegians little toe, and set off happily with thoughts of the instant noodles being carried up for the meal – what novelty!

Can’t see it
